If anyone caught Shane doing this he'd claim it was for research. Just analyzing game footage of his games against rozanov. They’d probably believe him at worst they’d make fun of him for being obsessed with their rivalry or having a rare moment of egotism. The video he's watching is called "HOLLANDER VS ROZANOV BEST MOMENTS" afterall. The problem is none of those are the real reason. The problem is that to Shane the most erotic thing besides having sex with Ilya Rozanov is playing hockey against him. The problem is that it shouldn’t be and yet here he is scanning gameplay compilations for glimpses of Rozanov's stupid handsome face. And it has to be their games because he swears the face Rozanov makes when he loses the face-off against him is different from when it’s anyone else.
Unfortunately this video does not have the close ups of their faces Shane was hoping to find. He knows he should stop; he still looks through to recommended videos looking for something promising. Then he sees it. The video is titled HOLLANOV PROOF (NOT CLICKBAIT) with a picture of him and Rozanov from the MLH awards as the thumbnail. Hollonov? What is– fuck that must be their celebrity couple name. he clicks on the video
. The first clip is what appears to be broadcast footage of the two of them presenting the award. Fuck shane knows there was something there when ilya ran his hand down shanes back. There's nothing in the video to point it out, no espn style slow motion and red circles maybe it's just that obvious even with their (intentionally) awkward delivery of what was on the teleprompter. In most of the others Shane can only see something there because he knows there was.
A clip of Shane cringing as someone cross checked rozanov disregarding that five minutes later Shane himself bloodied his nose with a high stick. Broke it actually. They still let him play and boston ended up winning. He’d say there were no hard feelings but rozanov with a bloody nose and black eye was really hot. It was even hotter when rozanov fucked him into the matress after the game.
Again nothing obvious from the clip shown but it drives him crazy that they see something. Something shane himself can't and he was there. Being in the public eye as long as he has he knows he probably shouldn't look at the comments. He does anyway.
